Technical Observation for Attendance & Access Control System Hardware

Technical observation is essential for an IT Manager to select Hardware for attendance & access control system. 

Some security device only works as attendance machine & some support both attendance & access control i.e. magnetic door lock. Now a days a number of verification combinations are available for attendance device like Proximity/RFID Card, Password, Finger, Irish, Face Detection & so on. For proper security there should required for a peered attendance device while push button for exit  is not a ideal solution. At the same time considering for future occurrence there should also have an emergency exit switch.      

User registration, user recognition/detection, template volume, transaction storage capacities are also   the considerable issues. 

This is also important for the security device that - is it support direct TCP/IP or have to use any converter between the device & server?
