Mailto Hyperlink Opening Multiple IE when I’m clicking on it
just once. However, this is annoying & makes the pc to run slow for the
time being. To resolve the issue follow the instructions.

Reasons:
The
problem happens due to one of following reasons:
- Mailto handler is not correctly set.
- Missing URL Protocol registry value.
- Incorrect registry permissions for the mailto key.

In
Windows XP:
!!
Go to Start Menu, click on Run and type inetcpl.cpl
& press Enter.
!! Select the Programs tab
!!
From the E-mail dropdown list, choose another
mail client, except present one, and then click Apply.
!! Undo the process and set your preferred Email
client again.
!!
It can be expect that problem may be resolved.
